Is crying permitted from Quran?

Islam is a religion in accordance with human nature.  Crying is in human nature.

We find an excellent example in the Quran of a prophet crying for his lost son.

‘And he turned away from them, and said: O my sorrow for Yusuf! And his eyes became white on account of the grief, and he was a repressor (of anger).’

(Surah Yusuf (12): 84)

If you refer to the exegesis of this verse, it will be clear how much Prophet Yaqoob (a.s.) cried for his son ultimately forfeiting his eyesight in the process.

If crying was forbidden, Allah would immediate point this out to Hazrat Yaqoob (a.s.) and stop him from crying.  But this is not the case.

As against this, there is not a single verse which prevents one from crying for a loved one.

This proves that crying is permitted in Islam and is not haraam as propagated by some sects of Islam.
